Wouldn’t you just love it if the intro instead went “Ladies and gentlemen:  two-time Academy Award winner and ‘The Next Karate Kid’ Hilary Swank!”

But no matter.  That’s how I heard it in my head, and it was seriously hilarious.

I couldn’t tell you the last time I watched the Oscars.  It would not surprise me if it had been a decade.  I’m watching tonight because I’m pulling for Diablo Cody and Juno.

You know, it’s not so bad.  Jon Stewart is doing a decent job balancing humor and gravity.  Also, Laura Linney is in the audience.  Meoooowwwwwrrrrr.
