The second coming of John Kerry?

Kerry for VP?  Could it happen?

This guy thinks so.  I kind of hope so, actually.  I’m hard-pressed to think of another plausible candidate who’d be so reliably amusing.  I got tremendous laughs from this guy four years ago, mostly from times he tried to convince us he was just regular folks.  He pretended he threw the ol’ ball around.  He pretended he drank beer.  He pretended he hunted.  I’m surprised we never saw him on a creeper under a ’68 Camaro.

Of course, he won’t have to clumsily attempt the whole broad appeal thing this time.  He can be the attack dog while Obama remains “above the fray.”  Still, I’d wager such duty will be good for chuckles.  Perhaps we’ll finally get a look at his lucky hat.

By the way, if memory serves, I believe Senator Kerry served in Vietnam.

  1. Kerry would be an ideal vice-president, the Veep job requires no skills whatsoever, and has no real duties. As a candidate, Kerry had no positions, and never pretended to. A perfect match.

As for just folks, you know he has a home on the island owned by the Forbes family trust, right?

  2. Ugh. Could we please just get this frickin’ election overwith? I’m sooooo very tired of the whole thing. Neither candidate does it for me. I’m pretty sure that the chosen VPs won’t do it for me, either.

I’m still hoping for “none of the above” to win so we can toss both guys out on their butts and try again until we get a decent candidate or two. It’ll never happen, but a girl can hope.

Tami: “Ron Paul or it doesn’t matter” was/is my thought on the election. Now, I’ve since amended it a little bit. Whatever else Obama has done, is doing, and may yet do, he dealt the Clintons some heavy duty misery. Still love that. Always will.

‘seester: Man, he looks like he’s having a great time! Heh.
