I'm trying to remain optimistic that some substantial percentage of Obama's worshipers are in shock, with severe but temporary pride muzzling their discontent. It's hard to be part of the hopey-changey lovefest only to get kneed in the nuts, and I appreciate that.

It is clear that this administration is a total disaster. Even the most generous and stilted narratives are fading into impossibility, for even the most apologetic sycophants.

As I have said many times, we are blessed with Obama's incompetence. He and his minions are so unbelievably (and unpredictably) amateur and ham-fisted at day-to-day politics, and that itself serves to limit the damage he is doing (somewhat). I hope whatever is left after the country makes good its escape from this berserking man-child (partially in '10; completely in '12) is sufficiently robust to recover.

One day closer to the midterms.

I like this one:
"Shelton State Community College in Alabama reported 14,500 jobs saved or created after receiving $27,000 from the General Accounting Office."

Good ol' Shelton State 13th Grade in T-town - the brunt of many a joke from big brother UA. Don't get me started on the bloated Alabama State Community College system, but what kind of data do you expect out of high school with ashtrays?
