I about fell off the couch when the little dude b-slapped the guy. And it was great to see the FoF commercial ending up so inocuous after all the buildup. Kind of a "gotcha" moment. I have to admit that I was disappointed that the Colts lost, but they did it against a very worthy opponent. If they had to lose to anyone, I'm glad it was to the Saints. And for pure, freakin' genius...the Tim Tebow commercial. I don't care what side of the argument you're on...Focus on the Family's strategy was BRILLIANT. That commercial couln't have BEEN less offensive. There was nothing ANYONE could say about it...and yet the liberal media did all of the work FotF could have wished for. The MEDIA told the story over and over again about how Tebow's mom was advised to abort...how she risked her life to carry him to term...Oh the wailing, Oh the gnashing of teeth. For WEEKS the outcry of the liberals about how irresponsible that was...(and BTW, don't you think that if you purport to support a woman's choice...then you should celebrate her right to choose to keep a pregnancy, not just her right to end it?) And then the commercial itself??? Just his mom saying that she loves her son & that she's always worried about him...she worried about him when she "almost lost him" and she worries about him still even though he's a big ole football player.
