I had my phone out to get a photo when my car rolled over to 100,000 a few weeks ago, and wouldn’t you know it, the battery was dead! Oh well, 111,111 won’t be far away.
It’s amazing what excites us.

kemtee- Are you kidding? He’s not even close! It makes me crazy how close he runs that thing. A couple of times he’s bought gas just because he’s tired of me nervously glancing at the fuel gauge every time we pass a gas station (or an exit if we are travelling).
I have been driving for 22 years. I have never run out of gas. I have only once had less than a gallon in the tank when I refueled.
It’s about knowing your vehicle.

If I learned nothing else from what my friends went through with Katrina (and right after 9/11), it’s to keep the car gassed up. One never knows when there will be a real situation where having gas might come in handy.
